Dude! That looks like the deepest mud / water hole at Rausch Creek along the power lines! Lots of wheeling rigs have hydrolocked in that hole in the summer when it is a foot or so more shallow.

I had my new Rubi there in January and we drove over that hole since it was covered with ice. After seeing your photo, I am steering clear of that obstacle from now on. I hope your dealership's service manager doesn't look at this forum. If he sees that picture, you are screwed!

I hope you get it straightened out without any more hassles!

Awsome picture man! No ideas, just love the shot.. I stay away from Ice holes like that now. I have a built cherokee that i ripped the front end out of one year going into shit like that... Bent some stuff, killed a knuckle... Ice and "built" 4x4 not again.

hope you get her fixed!

Hmm .. If its not the MAF, Have you checked spark plugs, plug wires, and coils? I had similiar issues with my Ram and it turned out to be a bad plug wire connection (corrossion/dirt in the brass connector). A bad coil wire would have similiar albeit worse symtoms. A defective/fouled spark plug will also fail under load, causing arcing and produce similiar results. It is possible that Cold water may have cracked the porceline on a spark plug.

My old damn Cavalier had the same problem. Would start to stall out when I went through puddles. The mechanic said it was common on the Cavalier/Sunfires.

Anywho... Glad I don't have that piece of crap anymore.

I dont really see what you find so "slap funny?" I dont wonder WHY my Jeep was running like hell. I only FUCK up my Jeep by using it for its intended purposes. I might push the limit of its capabilities, but I also dont pass the buck when it comes to blame. I bashed my evap can, and now need a fix... so turned to somebody with a similar experience for some insight on their outcome. WTF? Maybe you werent directing this comment toward me...
