Default Window storage bag

Hey, I'm looking for a quality storage bag for the plastic windows (all 3) for my 4 door JK.

Anyone have some experience with this?

Do they protect the windows well?

Do I have to remove the bar from the rear window before putting in the bag (I would rather not).

I have the Clover Patch storage bag that I got from Quadratec (http://www.quadratec.com/products/91109_110_07.htm).

Granted it is about $80..but it is simple and easy to use. It stores all 3 windows...sandwiched and separated by pieces of cloth material. You will still need to remove the back windows from the cross member bar..but that takes all of 3 seconds.

I have the Jeep window storage bag. It works great. You do have to remove the bar from the back window. All three windows are inbetween felt. It has two snaps that connect the bag to the back of the back seats. Its alot smaller then the Clover Patch one.

X2. It's a little expensive but it's really well made. And the bar should be removed no matter what you store it in. I would imagine it would crease the window.

Is it like the Clover Patch one where you roll it then have to stuff it in a bag, or do you just roll it?

Is there a bag that holds only the two side windows that might be cheaper? Because when I put the top down I dont move the back window(just zip it up)and it works fine. So its just the two side windows I would need a bag for.

X3 on the Cloverpatch.....works great and you can strap it to the roll bar so they are out of the way yet there when you need them....

I've been using the cloverfield bag since the spring. Like everyone else has said i like it. I've been keeping the bar attached to the rear window cause i'm lazy. I haven't had any issues so far, although in the instructions it says to remove the bar.

Not to hijack but what is the issue with leaving the bar attached to rear window

You aren't hijacking. That is my question too. I would prefer to leave it on also.

1. Quicker to throw back on in those sudden downpours.
2. I'm lazy also...

That's why I also asked about the rolling and then stuffing it in a bag or just rolling it.

I would think the metal might crease one or more of the windows if left in the middle of the roll, especially the bottom of the back window once you start rolling. I just take it out and put it in the bag outside of the rolled up felt just to make sure. Maybe I'm just being anal. Hey if it works for you, do it.
