I've never tried that. Can you put the top down while leaving the back window in without damaging it?

BTW I have the clover patch. It works very well. Just lay it across the top and buckle it to the roll bars

My Cloverpatch is on the big brown truck to be delivered today, so I'd like to hear opinions on this as well.

Can't speak for the JK, but I have the Cloverpatch roll for my TJ, and never take the bottom bar off. It's at the bottom of the rear window, so I put it at the top of the inner roll, right at the seam. Everything rolls around it, works just great. Looking at the pictures in the owner's manual, JK looks exactly the same to me.

What I do is unzip it, then roll it up, then take the top down and its all good. No damage or any other problems, one less window to store in the garage

I went and got a bunch of flannel fabric and had my mother in law sew me a holder and it works great and only cost about $10 in fabric. I roll the rear window side to side, so the bar gets removed.

I was thinking of buying the cloverpatch as well. One question, though...The side windows have 2 plastic retainers...How do they roll up without damaging them?

The side windows get rotated 90 degrees so the plastic clip is at the bottom when you start rolling it up.

Does the Cloverpatch have to be put ontop of the window? When it's wicked hot outside i like to occasionally leave the top up, but want to keep the windows with me... It seems to rain every single day. Can the cloverpatch be put in the back seat or strapped somewhere else?

The Black Roll on top of my Folded Soft Top, is the Cloverpatch Roll, with all three windows rolled up inside of it. You can strap it to the rear Roll Bars, or just lay it across your back seat.

Cheers!

I use the Bestop HOSS Window Storage Duffle. I'm happy with it.
