Default Mine doesn't have the problem...

Most of my 6 previous CJs and Wranglers always had a wind noise problem...(except for the 1 hardtop)...my 07 unlimited has less wind noise than even the hardtop had...my soft top sits way closer than the one in your picture...your stealer dealer is giving you the runaround...this crap about wind noise and leaks may have been true for some soft tops in the past with the different windshield headers, but shouldn't apply now...anyways, most of my previous noise was from side curtains, not the windshield header joint.

I cut a 1"+ long piece of rubber vacuum hose, slit it lengthwise, then popped it onto both brackets.....it effectively makes the latch pull the softop further forward. It definitely works, as the latches are harder to close. And, you can vary the tightening force, by merely going to thicker walled hose, till you get the force you need/want.

I don't understand why that center windshield bracket doesn't have a latch also? Apparently, it's for tieing down the windshield when dropped? But, I'm gonna' look for some type of latch to fasten to that softop header, and get some pressure in the middle too. It's gonna' have to be something that looks like it "belongs" there tho'!!
