Here's mine mounted in front of the shifter

I did have to cut the mounting bracket down 1/2" so the shifter didn't rub on the radio. Also clearanced the rubber boot on the end of the coax so it would sit low enough to not be in front of the ESP and hazard buttons. A 90deg coax adapter would have done the trick ut I'm a cheap bastard.

So, what's the story with the ground wire that looks to be attached to the antenna wire and grounded to the antenna mount? Is there a splice in the antenna wire or? How do I know if i need a ground wire like that?

BTW my antenna is mounted to the 3rd brake lite. CB is grounded to the body. SWR is between 1.2-1.6 or so on channels 1-40.

I mounted my Cobra 75 under the passenger seat and the antenna on the spare tire mount.

Has anyone mounted their CB under (and attached to) the lid of the console?

I ended up putting mine below the glove box on the passenger side, not many other options on the 2011 from what I could figure out
