There is an exxon off of exit 68 on interstate 68 we can meet there and go in via Orleans road or go in a few exits down. Either way the exxon would be a good place to meet. Oh the 15th is the date I think

E, absolutely! We plan on leaving early-definitely by 7a- to make it up by 9a. We can meet at parking lot in front of Panera on Boston St so its convenient for you, and get fresh java to start out with. Too bad about other group being maxed out, but our smaller group will be easier to manage if everybody doesn't have a CB. I've got one, though. I have some recovery gear, too but no winch. Heard a rumor that the trail was blocked by a tree at some point, making thru trip impossible. Does anyone know anything about that? Never done water crossings there so if anyone knows where those are, I'll follow them. Have an old trail map too if anyone needs a copy. U can prob download one. So that's 3 of us in for our group?

I'm out I have work that Saturday,

I might go this Sunday though. Is it just fire roads with water crossings, or is there tough obstacles on the trails?

I'm up for it! Gotta check with the boss first.

Will I need a permit and are there any fees to enter the park?

What time do you guys think you will be by Hagerstown? I can just meet up on the interstate or at the exxon station at greenridge what ever works for everybody. hopefully we don't run into any down trees but if we do I have a winch. I think there is 4.

If I remember right, since the jeep is licensed, you don't need a permit. But I'll call the ranger station and ask just to make sure. The one time I went driving there on the trail, I didn't have one, though. Is anyone else bringing the wife/GF? Mine is worried about being the only girl. If you have a good camera, this is a good trip to bring it on.

You don't need a permit if it has tags on it and you can travel the trail in any direction. Atv's are one way only. I did talk my wife into going.
