If we pull the wheel chocks on time, we can make Hagerstown in an 1h 40m or so. That would put us in the neighborhood around 8:45 or so. Does that sound ok for all, or is that too early? We could meet at the Exxon just fine because I'll be wanting to top off me tank. I'll be the Rescue Green hard top with the Hi-Lift on the tailgate and my plate is my name.

Do you happen to have an exact address I can pump into my GPS?

Not sure which address you're asking about, but as Initial said, you could always meet us at Panera and follow us up if you'd like. I think you'd be able to pull something up on the web for addresses. Only1 might have something, though.

Definitely down with at Max's! Just PM me.

Yes, definitely still on. At least, I'm still going. Meet up at 7am Panera parking lot on Boston St. For anyone who wants to meet up and follow us, the address is 3600 Boston St. Baltimore 21224. The address of the EXXON station is 12937 Orleans Rd Ne, Little Orleans, MD 21766. It's just off I68, at exit 68. That's the best I can do for GPS as my GPS is a DeLorme map.

7am is a good time to leave to make Green Ridge by 9-9:30. I think the Exxon station is a great place to meet up if you're not meeting up in Baltimore. I'd estimate making there about 8:45 or so. If everyone is in, I think there are 4 jeeps in the group. Should be fun!! Any questions or needs my number, just PM me!!

I talked to a Ranger up at the park office today.

No permits needed for Jeeps!
There is snow on the trails and as of today, the roads have NOT been plowed.
Recommend recovery gear and shovels. If anyone is going to get stuck up there, it's nice to know there's a whole group from Va that's planning on going the same day!!

Cosmos, sorry you can't make it on the 15th...and this weekend was your idea, though for the next day. Wish I could have made it Sunday. Perhaps I could join you another time?

I'm still in. I'll try to hit the interstate around 8:00 that should put me at the exxon at 8:45 or 9:00. Then we can take it from there. There are a few ways to the trail one includes a small stream crossing, so I would assume that would be the way everyone would want to go. I'll have my cb on channel 16 when I leave Hagerstown, so I might see or hear from you guys on the way. My name is Jayson by the way. Look forward to meeting everybody!!

I'll try to nudge the VA guys to monitor channel 4 with me. But that depends on CB traffic out there, it may be taken already.

Shout if you guys need a hand

I am watching this thread and kind of interested in going if things work out - and you all don't mind a TJL Rubicon coming along. I have not been there in a year or so but was given the following from Atomicha regarding stream crossings:

Green ridge river crossings

Here are the the directions in google maps.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...49689&t=h&z=13

point A is where you'd turn off the road that comes out of the ATV trail. Normaly you'd go north on that road to head back to Flintstone, but for the rivers you'd want to head south. point B is just after where the 3rd river crossing is. as you can see in the map, the road will take you back to Flintstone after it ends on Town Creek Rd.
