BEFORE:

AFTER:

'After' picture was taken a couple days ago. Currently, since I've started, I have... :

- Removed the factory front bumper cover and bumper.
- Removed the factory rear bumper.
- Removed the factory flares and wheel skirts.
- Removed the factory side steps.
- Removed the factory tires and wheels.
- Removed the factory spare tire carrier with third brake light.
- Removed the factory receiver hitch.
- Installed new 35/12.5/15 BFG MT KM2s on 15x8 (3.75 BS) Pro-Comp Rock Crawler Series 98 Monster Mod gloss black steel wheels with chrome center caps and lug nuts.
- Installed new Smittybilt XRC steel flat flares.
- Installed new Smittybilt XRC rear bumper.

Work still to be done - Remove remaining factory parts and install... :

- Smittybilt XRC rear spare tire carrier.
- Smittybilt XRC front bumper.
- Smittybilt SRC rocker guards.
- Smittybilt windshield light brackets.
- Hella headlamp conversion.
- Hella 500FF driving lights (windshield).
- Hella 500FF fog lights (front bumper).
- In-cab switches.
- Cobra CB and Antenna.
- Hi-Lift jack mount.
- D-hooks.
- Black 'Wrangler' fender decals.
- Black 'Project JK' fender decals.
- AND last but not least... 2.5" Rough Country suspension lift (Performance 2.2-shocks and springs).

I have all the parts sitting in the garage, but just no time to put it all on. Have the entire day off tomorrow (Friday) though so I'll hopefully be able to pick away at a lot of that list. If anyone has any skill when it comes to electrical/wiring and wants to help out I could sure use it, haha!

Default BackUp lights

My old eyes, tinted windows, and lifted vehicle makes backing up more difficult these days. I had these work lights in my tool box not doing anything. It took about 45 minutes and 2 bandaids.

Nice grapplers! Like them? How are they on-road? Do they wear well?

Got my new rear bumper installed and it is SWEET!!!!
Very happy with the look, installation and protection it offers, not to mention improving departure angles in the corners.
I think the old plastic bumper weighs about 10 lbs and after I got it off and looked at it... WOW..... not much protection from impact there from anything bigger than a bicycle! Just a big moulded piece of tupperware!

On to the next thing...
The search is now on for 37" tires so I'm probably going to let my 33x12.5R16 Toyo Open Country AT's go (305/70R16). 60% tread left and perfect shape till yesterday... one plug (drywall screw ) pass it around if you guys are interested pm me for a price. I have 2 TrXus MT's for spares as well 20 bucks each

....and the build goes on...

I'm now lifted. Can someone measure from frame rail to ground for me so that I can tell what kind of lift I actually got? The rig is well over 6 ft tall with the hard top on. Also got my spidertrax spacers on. It really made the jeep look huge. I'll have pics in a bit.
