Very cool! I'm right there with you! I've been here for 4 weeks and now that I have a job I'm flying back tomorrow to get my stuff loaded into a Penske and high tail it back.

You're gonna love it! Congrats!

The wife and I are possibly moving to CO in the next year or so. Of course I'm interested in Jeepin' but I also want white water rafting, kayaking, sking, biking and hiking. Without starting a "who's town is best war"......what are some nice places to live in Crawlorado?

Thanks

As far as I'm concerned, the Western Slope is where it's at. Jeeping, hiking, rafting, biking, skiing are all in your backyard. No getting stuck in traffic to head into the mountains. Moab and Southern Utah are right next door, too. GJ was my first choice when I moved to CO, and I couldn't be happier

Being new here, I'd say as long as you're in Colorado you're good...it's all amazing. I like the mix of entertainment and outoors that Denver gives you, but I wouldn't have a problem with GJ or Telluride either.

I agree the western slope is pretty nice. I live in glenwood Springs. 45minutes to Vail, Aspen is up the road and sunlight mtn in my back yard. We have what some call the best WW kayaking and rafting in the country along with our brand new WW park. (google glenwood kayaking)

3 hours to Moab...3 hours to denver...sounds far but after living out west its a day trip. Back east i wouldnt drive an hour. While everyone is fighting traffic on the front range you are alway going the opposite direction. Headed west on sunday from denver or skiing. I been here 2 years. Its not for everyone. But its hard to leave having colorado prime in your back yard.
