beautiful weekend coming up, anybody heading out? we tried spring creek last weekend, first obstacle was a lot of fun, but couldn't get past a few of the ledges to get to the boulder field. might head out to hacket and longwater this weekend if anybody wants to come play!

Had some friends hit that last weekend and i guess it is open down to the river - but is closed at the river - so no deep water crossings but the trails are good to go. I just regret never beng able to climb hacket rock before the fire! I got my XJ built up for the task, and the weekend before we tackled Longwater gulch (again) and then the girls in the group wanted to go home so we scheduled to hit hacket first thing the next weekend.. .the next weekend was the Hayman Fire... now, i have heard that "hackett rock" is "still there" - can anyone attribute to whether or not it is still in its glory or has erosion dulled it down? either way.. its on our list for this year as well.

Truck and Uhaul trailer packed up and moving to Colorado today. I've been looking forward to this for years.
