Something fun and simple would be "Slaughterhouse Gulch" or "Beaver Creek Rd"

There are all kinds of things listed on traildamage.com

Went up to Bill Moore Lake today. It was a good day for a solo run and since the trail wasn't particularly difficult I didn't anticipate much risk. The trail is only slightly muddy right before you get to the lake.

Here's my copy of the shot in Charles' Wells trail guidebook.

Here you can see the trail making its way across the mountains.

A heads up to anyone interested... so long as I can get the 17th off from work and friend and I are planning to head up red cone... I'll know in a day or two whether it's going to happen...

Hellllooooo , I am new to jeeps, new to the forum, and in two weeks will be new to Colorado. I am relocating to Colorado Springs, CO from south Louisiana and will be looking for some people to hang with and stuff to do. My wife, daughter, and I are moving on the 24th of July. We have never been there or know anyone there. Just packing up and driving.

keep a lookout, just wanted to say hey

Welcome! I did the same thing in April. You're gonna love it! There's plenty of people on here to go wheeling with, just shout when you're going and someone is bound to join.

awsome , except the only trail i know is at garden of the gods and I guess thats a good starting place since i'm not an expert wheeler. can't wait to get up there. We are moving to the area right around Cheyenne Mountain... hopefully some good trails nearby. We are also big into mountain biking. I think we are moving to the right state

Not really..I mean you can take old stage road up into some cool stuff, but nothing right there in the immediate vicinity. Not that I know of. That's a great area. My uncle lives on the Broadmoor Mountain course, so I have spent a lot of time in that area.

Garden of the gods leads you up to rampart range rd, which has some fun offshoots too.

Default Ouray

Stopped in Ouray, and a bit of 4 wheeling, the last run was Imogene Pass, at the time I went through the pass, was open only a few days. great water shots, plenty of old mines areas to see, and a semi truck stuck at Animas Forks. One of the Locals said that this was a first, a semi Has never made it up that far.
