Hey CP, if I can just make a suggestion, come from the south off the highway, not through Manitoba and up Webster Pass. There is a HUGE drift across Handcart Gulch that may not be gone in time for your Saturday run.

From our attempt Wednesday:

Default Spacers/Tires

Was looking at new tires and spacers, decided on 295/75R18 to go on my Teraflex 2.5 coil/shock lift. put some on layaway at Discount Tire until the backordered lift is here. after reading teh forum and spacers decided to call DT and ask if they will still install the tires and they said "NO!".. what the heck?? Has anyone had to deal with this? Any recommendations?

I got a sweet deal, which is why I went to DT to begin with buy 4 get the 5th free.. saved me $300 bucks..

If you know someone with a truck just bring them home and we can install the tires when you install your lift. It's super easy and spacers are just as easy.

Yeah that's what I'm assuming he was talking about - and yes, it's not unreasonable that they won't..its a liability issue.

Yep. I understand that but i had a guy at the store off Havana just flat out "NO!" i wont even price the wheels and tires for it infact they proceded to tell me that 16" rims probably wont fit either. (this is after explaining that my current setup requires spacers) and since i'll be running my Stock rims during the winter im keeping my spacers on year round.

Sounds like the perfect reason to never visit that place again...saying 16" rims wont fit is down right stupid. I've seen 15" rims fit...just takes a little research to make sure you get the right size. Some shops just don't even try.

If you all are looking for a Discount Tire that will work with spacers the one down here in Highlands Ranch (McArther and Wildcat) has been takin care of my jeep for the past 2 years. Just tell them up front and as long as they are bolt on spacers, they are totally fine with it. (this all as of about a month ago).

Im also running 15" wheels, when i bought them their computer also said that they woul not fit. I just got them anyways, but im also running 1.5" spacers.
