It was taken with my Canon XSi. It's about 45 different 30 second exposures stacked to create the star trails (I wish I had gone a bit longer). f4.0 (that was wide open for my wide angle lens) and an ISO of 800.

I lit up the tower in the foreground on my first exposure with my headlamp.

Default Wheeler Run

Got to head up to wheeler this last weekend. Weather was nice at the beginning of the day, but it was snowing pretty good by the time we finally got to the top. Didn't get a lot of great pictures, but a few!!

Sure am, 35X12.50 mtr/kevlar on a RE 3.5 superflex. Just finished up the build the day before when I put the tires on. They stuffed the fender a little on full flex, but one tire was about 3 feet in the air when it happened, so i'm not to worried!! Have the body armor bumper hanging out in the garage with a full size spare, but didn't even have time to throw in on before we went out!!

Planning on spending one day in Moab this weekend....but not to wheel. I may not even drive a Jeep there.

That would be like going to a buffet with your jaw wired shut!

On anoter note, I will be in the Grand Junction/Fruita area for some single track adventure next weekend. Any good trails to hit in a stock Rubi while im at it???

Bangs Cannyon has a few rough sections but is doable in a stock Rubi. You could also head up 21 Road until it gets too difficult.

There are some nice easy & scenic roads our near Rabbit Valley along the Kokopelli Trail that I like to drive.

What single track trails are you planning on hitting?

Looking at doing Zippity Do Da and all those of course, probably head over to the lunch loop/holy cross area by Colorado National Monument and then head over towards Mary's Loop, Horsethief, etc.

Do you ride?

I actually just started riding this year....still a newbie at it. Done Rustlers Loop a bunch and Horsethief a couple of times.

I've hiked almost all of the Tabeguache trails, but most of those are too technical for me at this point.

I haven't made it out to the 18 Road area yet, though...
