Crawlorado Chat box
we ran HolyCross today
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos except for 2 or 3 from my iphone.
we made to french Creek then we had to turn around.
my JK left with a non functional rear locker and rock rash.
Bro JK left with a bad axle shaft seal (driver side) and rock rash.
Mango JK left with a leaky steering box and rock rash.
definitely kicked our ass!
and we didn't take any bypasses!
this trail is in my head now! I need to come back and walk all over it with no probs.
last year when I ran it. I had no probs till we left then I almost lost all steering because the drag link almost fell off
after inspection it was stripped and I replaced it.
with all the carnage, It's still a fun trail

Awesome Trail! Bypasses what are those on that trail, lol its either a hard line or a little less hard line, lol. This is definitely gonna be a yearly run for me, I would recommend this trail to everyone to at hit at least once, but make sure you go in a group as you can tell it eats parts. I will have some pictures up this afternoon.
I wasn't there to see if happen, as we had 22rigs in the group and had to pull up pretty far to make sure we had enough parking room, but from what i heard. The draglink folded up basically due to a freak stress, it was the around the same line I took up the obstacle and I believe everyone was calling it steep rock. The harder of the lines was the one we took and the less difficult was to the right which isn't pictured. Its possible that he slipped backwards into the crack at a weird angle with his tires turned passenger and the rock decided to turn his tire driver. They stabilized the Jeep with a couple of winches jacked it up, pulled the tire, straightened the link, parked it for the day and road with a buddy, came back later and wheeled it down to camp and trailered it out.
Is there a part of this trail I can go for beginers with 33's and just a leveling kit on my 4-door? I'd like to learn how to really drive a trail but I DD my jeep and don't want to tear it apart too bad. Gold camp and Rampart are getting a little boring.

You could do the beginning fairly easily, I wouldn't recommended it for the unlocked though much farther in. If your looking for more trails try something off gold camp, or check traildamage.com there are some that are closer that would be to your liking perhaps chinaman gulch remember to take someone that has experience spotting this trail and you should be fine.
