Wow. Must have been quite the winter out there. There's a bunch of those I've run in the past. Santa Fe Peak was already getting really rutted and washed out last year. I could imagine what it's like now. Happen to know if Saints John is open and what its condition is?

Thanks for the update. I was going to start planning a trip with friends in a few weeks. This helps!
finally made it up wheeler today. we broke the trail. still some sections with a decent amount of snow. looked like a few 4 wheelers may have made it up sooner than us, but couldn't really tell. a few hours after we made it up, a bunch more vehicles showed up, but on the way down we found out they avoided the snow by just driving way off the trail. haven't seen that much snow up there in a long time - fishing was still good though!
Has anyone had issues with passing emissions test here in CO? I'm running bigger tires which I know can be an issue. I need to get mine tested this week, but wasn't sure if I was going to run in to any problems.
Thanks,
Thanks,
i dont think they can test anything bigger than a 33" tire. some places have loaners so you can do emissions testing. or if need i can loan you my stocks to get tested. (aurora testing site is 3 blocks from my office)
Q.
Tire Sizes and Dynamometers?
A.
Front wheel and all wheel drive vehicles with low profile tire sizes 17 inches or larger in diameter, or vehicles with tire sizes larger than 34 inches cannot be safely tested on the dynamometer.
Only vehicles with manufacturer-equipped undersized or oversized tires that do not fit safely on the dynamometer will be authorized by the state to undergo an idle test instead of a dynamometer test. Vehicles with tires larger or smaller than original equipment that do not fit safely on the dynamometer must be returned to stock condition for testing. Vehicles with non-original undersized or oversized tires will not receive authorization from the state for an idle test.
just curious if anyone has had issue with this.. i went and measured mine and they look slightly below 34".. they better test them or I'll have to throw the book at 'em.. ha
