Hi Coloradans! Wife and family are heading to estes park in a couple weeks. Bad thing is we will be towing our camper, so no jk this time.

We both grew up in Colorado, but unfortunately my job took us to Nebraska. (ugh)

So, while I hate to spend money on a jeep tour, I may have to. Any suggestions?

Another option is our tow vehicle is a liberty. Any mild trails we can hit?

I did Mosquito Pass a few years ago in my stock '07 Sahara Unlimited without any problems. Once near the top, it does get narrow but it's more psychological than difficult. We're heading back out to CO in mid-August and it's one we thought about doing again. We did it with 2 little ones in the far back and grandma/grandpa in the back seat. Looks like tons of snow in places still on high passes but hopefully things will open up by the time I'm out again.

Sounds good. We typically do more of the stuff out of Montezuma...Sts John, Santa Fe, Swan River...so not sure what we'll do yet this year. Hoping to have my '12 Rubi by then. Was built yesterday. Anything you particularly like in Dillon/Breck/Vail area?

Default Nice Thread!

Hi Everyone! Just noticed this thread and thought I would give a shout.

I just got the jeep bug during memorial day weekend (2011) when friends took me wheeling near Guffy, CO. The next week I went and bought a JKU Rubicon. My friends love to go wheeling, but sometimes schedules conflict and I'm with out a "wing man". I am always up for something if I'm free. Ill be looking for this thread more often for open invites.

Here are a few vids I did from the past 45 days I have had my beast.
