And on top of these last two guys being right about the 60, the 240B is not mainly use on vehicles most combat arms MOS's have one assigned per platoon at least. Trust me when I was in my 160lbs ass had to carry both. Sappers forward !!!

right, we only had M240G's which is used for everything, mounted on vehicles and tripods at fixed positions. But the 31's carry it in a gun crew. I wasn't in the army so I don't really know what they did with the Bravo but I've seen them carrying it.

You are allowed to have assault rifles that violate the laws in California, but only if you are active duty military with orders to be stationed inside the state. You can apply for an assault weapons permit that allows you to bring your weapons into the state. I've still got copies of my paper work for the next time I get stationed there.
