Probably for some of the same reasons you go offroading. Collecting is a hobby, shooting is a hobby, building is a hobby, and because we enjoy those hobbies. A responsible individual with a hobby is no more dangerous then a responsible individual with a lifted Jeep. Our Jeep's can kill just as easily as any firearm, imagine if you would t-bone a car at 60 KPH. Would the driver of that car survive if you were running 35's with a stinger bumper? Probably not. So which is more dangerous, my firearms that stay locked inside a safe until I am on the way to the range or my Jeep that gets about 56k KM per year?
