Older Jeepers
I will be 53 in a few months. I've had the fever all of my life, but thought I had it under control. Over the years I have had a few, a couple CJ5's, CJ2A,CJ3B and a M38A1. Loved them. But as I have gotten older, my appreciation for creature comforts has increased.. So I stepped up my game the other day, and got this.

I have a Teraflex 2.5 lift on the way and will be ordering the tires and wheels next week.. Then as the cards allow I will get bumpers and other goodies.

I hate to admit that I'm smack in the middle of that age range (and my husband is a few years older). I've had a Jeep my entire (driving) life but my '07 JK is the first one I built for more serious trails. There are some days when I wonder how long it will be before I have to lower it a couple inches so I can get in it
but the Jeep lifestyle keeps me young and happy. Still enjoy doing a technical trail with friends now and then but we really love just packing up the Jeep and getting away from it all for a few days. That's the great thing about being in the West, you can drive trails for days and never see another soul. Freedom

Will be 61 in a couple months. Have been off roading since I was in the 8th grade. Bought a 68 Honda Trail 90...which I still have, moved to buggies, but didn't get my 1st Jeep until 2005. Have a 2004 TJ Sport stock. I'm a slow poke around the trails in MI. Have been to Ouray, CO as well. My brother-in-law and I do a lot of trail rides in Payson, AZ...up on the rim. Now that I'm retired I hope to have more time to spend on the trails. My wife drive a 09 JK unlimited.
I am 66. I have no idea how I mgot this old.
Had my first Jeep in 1966. It was an M151 and I had it (actually had access to it)for the entire 32 months I spent in VN.
Had my next one in 1987, still an M151 when I went back on active duty at age 40. But, they took it away from me and replaced it with a hummer (boo)
Then a '97 TJ, a 2010 JKU (the engine sucked) and now a 2014 JK Sport that I am busy blowing money on adding on the neat things that didn't come with it.

Adding my bit for the thread. 61 at this time and on my 3rd Jeep. First one was a '74 CJ-5 I ordered when I was in Thailand, and had it waiting for me when I got home. Had a few other 4Xs, including a FJ-40, a couple of Subaru Brats. Took some time away from the 4x scene, then got into a '07 FJ Cruiser, a couple of Tacomas, and finally the '14 JKU. Still like to go out in the desert and play, although I don't go by myself any more. Usually with a couple of clubs I belong to. Great bunches of people.
Any older Jeepers , lets say 40- 60+ out there? Lets hear from you, and how long have you been in the Jeep Lifestyle.
I'll start it off, I will hit the Big 60 in June, have 2 JK's at this time , an 08 unlimited , and a 2014 Rubicon unlimited. Got hooked of Jeeps in 1975.

It's not for the mall. I don't even need a "daily drive", since I now telecommute to work. I'll drive when I want to.
I just turned 43 in Feb. Got my JK back in Oct. It's my first Jeep. I have wanted one for a long time but when I was younger finances gotin the way, then as I got older family made it impractical (couldn't figure how to fit 6kids in a Wrangler). Now that the kids ar older I bought my 2w0 rubi and have been in love ever since.
