my cb lives in my center console... i dont run with carpet in the summer months so i ran the antenna cable under the passenger seat and picked up the wire loom thats under there and zip tied the cable to the loom all the way to the back, then on the cloth limiting strap on the rear gate through the plastic trim piece on top and out a grommet to the teraflex antenna mount.

did that make sense?

I don't know what is in there... As for interference, I only use it when I wheel so its just short range stuff, but I have no problems

....I ran mine through the plastic hose (Sorry! I don't know the "technical" term!) that holds all the other wires along the passenger side of the vehicle. Then like mentioned above ran it through the tail gate with the third brake light cable. Hope this helps!

wire loom!

im trying to figure out where to put the cb... i already have something mounted above the rear view, so that spot is no good. im thinking either in the arm rest console or under the steering wheel. since thats the case, im probably going to go through the passenger wire loom.

I ran mine up and along the roll bar under the padding/cover. Works great since I mounted my CB over the rear view mirror.

There was a post on here from someone who mounted it under the steering wheel ............... cut a hole in the plastic fairing there ......looked like a factory install. If you do a search you should be able to find it
