If I order the bracket only versus the kit, does the "Added Insurance" ( the grounding strap) come with it?
BTW, great design - simple, flexible, and easy to install.

i have a similar non sponser version, but i think i like this one more.

 

Definitely get a spring! I just found out that my 4' Firestick snapped at the base. I had it mounted on the tirecarrier and it must have hit a tree branch or something, because it's just gone. I'm pretty pissed.

Anyone know where to get a spring? I might just go with a whole new cooltech setup.

I just ordered the Cooltech LP mount and 3' Firestik. I'm pleased. It's a very well engineered kit and the 3' antenna lets me get my lifted JK into the garage.

 

I have the Teraflex spare tire carrier mount and 3' firestick. Love the setup, clean and looks good!
