Thanks! I've been debating this configuration, should have the same setup installed this month.

Well, I got an e-mail from Rick at ARR, and he said $105.00 get me one shipped. Here's what he said...

Quote:
"The spacing from side to side of your Jeep is not the same as 1995 thru 2006. Then 2007 made another change.
If you want to give me the dimensions from the center of the windshield support bar from the driver to passenger side, I can make you a mount. However, It will be more expensive than the standard mount since I have to lay it up by hand. $105 would include shipping in the US>"
Rick

I am having trouble understanding what measurements he needs. From the center of the windshield support from the drivers to passengers side? How do I do that?

Doesn't his site list "JEEP JK (2007-2013) RADIO MOUNT $64.95"???

Yes it does! What do you think I should do? Order it or let him build me one?

Just as an FYI, have a look at the pics I took for the ARR install in my 2011 JKU.
FTM-350AR Install

I have the freedom top and had to bend the end tabs of the ARR mount to make it fit properly. Also drilled holes and used thru bolts purchased locally, rather than the bolts ARR provided which were too long. After my purchase I sent Rick a few emails asking for the help about mounting, but never got any reply. Then, when I did my own thing I sent him some photos suggesting he could make some simple changes for the freedom top JK's, but he never replied to that message either. In other words, once you get the thing, it would seem you're on your own.

My guess about the dimension ARR is looking for is intended to avoid the back of the radio from hitting the end of the hook. Hard to imagine what modification that would be?

I really don't trust that it will be right if he did make me one. Gonna see what else I can find I guess.
