Ham license: Know Code General.
Radio inventory includes Elecraft K3, Drake TR4C, Heathkit SB-101, Collins 75A4, Drake 2B, etc., etc.

You can always find good deals on the older Icom IC-706s. Fantastic radios still. But don't forget 10m is still HF, and from what I've heard 10m is opening up a little more all the time. You would have great fun doing some 10m DX'ing from a mobile. Back in the day I used to have a Ranger AR-3500 10m mobile http://www.rigpix.com/mischam/ranger_ar3500.htm that was a fantastic radio. Used to talk all over the world with just 25 watts...(they came out with a 100 watt version as well. I also had a RCI-2950... http://www.rigpix.com/cbfreeband/ranger_rci2950dx.htm which is another real good rig and nowadays has 12m as well. When 10m is open it is one of the favorite bands of many, many HAM ops....
