Default cooltech install

I had no problems installing mine. Once you pry the inner plate out, you just unplug the wire. I think it had a little clip that you had to hold down while sliding it apart.

I did not have any problems with the light and did not remove the bulb. In fact I did not have to un-plug any wiring to complete the complete install. Take a deep breath and enjoy the tinkering! Good luck.

I installed the cooltech antenna mount. It was easy. But now my question is where to mount the CB?

The forum search ignores everything with 3 or fewer characters. It's a little frustrating. I've had better success using google instead. For example try "cb install site:jk-forum.com".

Default Thanks

FINALLY.... I have my Cb installed and my hat's off to Cool Tech. Every question I asked they answered, mine installed just like the instructions and the only problem I had was not following them sometimes. ADD... A dumb dude... I had a situation with grounding and if I would follow instructions it would have been easier and quicker... I emailed them and they help me immediately. My antenna is straight just as they said it would be. (Sorry that sounds bad)
I think cool tech is the way to go.
I ran right to the battery for power that's the easy way, thanks for all your encouragement and not to sound like a commerical but for my money Cool Tech mounts the way to go.
