Installing CB
I did not have any problems with the light and did not remove the bulb. In fact I did not have to un-plug any wiring to complete the complete install. Take a deep breath and enjoy the tinkering! Good luck.

No totally finished but cool tech mount super way to go. No need to wire my cobra 75. Suggustions on which wires to hot wire it. Lighter wires??? To battery. Any suggestions???
Cool tech is mounted straight up and down - You really can't goof it up. I did not even have to pull out lights since someone gave me the tip... THANKS

I suggest going straight to the battery. I've had my lighters blow fuses with a compressor it didn't like so definately battery is the way to go
There is a small hole behind the side panel on the battery side that we just snaked the wires thru to the battery. May need a coat hanger

FINALLY.... I have my Cb installed and my hat's off to Cool Tech. Every question I asked they answered, mine installed just like the instructions and the only problem I had was not following them sometimes. ADD... A dumb dude... I had a situation with grounding and if I would follow instructions it would have been easier and quicker... I emailed them and they help me immediately. My antenna is straight just as they said it would be. (Sorry that sounds bad)
I think cool tech is the way to go.
I ran right to the battery for power that's the easy way, thanks for all your encouragement and not to sound like a commerical but for my money Cool Tech mounts the way to go.
