Mines on the dash. Since that photo I changed the gold fasteners it came with to a knob-like screw for easy removal so I can take it off the dash and put it in the glove box for security from rain and theft while the top is down and doors are off

My Cobra 29 LX in mounted under my steering wheel (area). It doesn't hit my legs. I also run my mic cord from the left up over my steering console and clipped back on the cb on the right side. Fits nicely as well.

I just made these brackets to mount my mic off my passenger side grab handle. I used 0.120" SS plate so that it makes a trim ring around where the handle mounts to the dash.

Just installed my cobra 75. Just drilled a small hole in bottom of console ran wires under carpet. Haven't decided where to hang mic yet. Currently just laying it in my lap in use and storing it in the console when not. Plus it's a good way to keep it locked up when tops and doors are off.

I removed the driver seat to pull out the middle console. Ran the wires under the carpet and drilled a hole through the bottom of the console. I have the Uniden PRO505XL 40-Channel CB Radio and it fits perfectly.
