That's a great idea! I have 2dr and don't really use back seat or cup holders. I'm gonna look at this once all the other stuff for cb comes in this week!

The mount is very stable and uses the bolts of the center loop. The plastic trim piece must be cut back a little though for the mount to fit.

PM me if you're serious, and we can work something out
Thanks bud. I'll let you know. I'm thinking of swapping to a smaller CB tho... going to try one out and see how that works. My only issue for me was as a DD it would annoy me sometimes having the CB mounted overhead all the time and it rattled a bit too much on the street & trail.

Mounted my uniden bearcat 880 in the tuffy over head lock box. Did have to re drill a few hole to get part of it to line up.

I mounted my Fire/EMS radio under the drivers seat, it would work for any radio as long as you dont go through deep water crossings. Keeps it out of the way and in easy reach.

Put mine in front of the shifter. You must have a 1" or greater body lift to do this though. It is in 1 st gear in these pics Had it there for two summers now no issues, even left in rain with no top on. Big down pours i just put a plastic bag on it.

The bracket just screws onto the lower panel, two of the screws hit hard plastic behind it, i used four pan head drywall screws.

You can hear it great, easy to get at.
