So where have you been mounting the CB's?
No spring. I have a quick disconnect. Where I go wheeling it is mainly wide open. Jeep sees far more highway time. If I need a spring in the future I'll throw one on.
Now I just need to get rid of my ignition noise. I'm surprised that I've got any since I ran + and - directly to the battery. The ANL switch gets rid of most of it from my speaker, but I'm not sure if it's heard by others when I transmit. I'll eventually get out on the trail or road and ask, but does anyone know for sure?

Well now that I've run the coax THAT way, everything worked out fine...

Good call, I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks!
