Okay I'm totally confused and unaware of the difference between the Hella's, Cibies, and IPF setups. I went with the IPF H4 Conversion kit due to forum recommendations a year and a half ago and yes they are much better than stock (horrible lights).

I'm just questioning whether it's personal preference or actual fact that one kit trumps the other and the benefits of having one kit over the other.
And would I be able to meet said expectations of the other setups with what I currently have (If indeed Cibies and Hellas > IPF like some have said)

I have a 2012 JKU btw...

How's the beam pattern?

My two cents? The Cibies are overrated. They are bright, but they threw light around all over and didn't have a clean cut off at the top. UPS just delivered a set of Hella 002395801 7", and they are much better. With the same type of bulbs, just as bright, fit into the housing a little better, and have a clean cut off when you shine them on a wall. They have a good pattern on the street, too. That's what I'm going with. I want to see better, not just have the brightest lights around.

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered these myself. For right at $100 shipped to my door I'm hoping this is the upgrade I was looking for.
