If its going to look like that then maybe true HID isn't what I want. Bring on the fake HID or at least the HID conversion kit with out the HID headlamp.

Lets wait and see how these turn out first then decide

The license plate says Dubai. I'm wondering if they actually cut out the hood to install the applique, thing a ma bob. It gets pretty hot there and I'm sure it would help quite a bit at lower the under hood temp. Especially at lower wheeling speeds. I don't like the look of it either, but sometimes function comes before beauty.

Looks like bug eyes. Kind of scary. Are there anymore pictures from more angles?

That was the only picture they had in that particular thread. I saw some pics elsewhere with these installed on various other vehicles. I didn't care for them in any of the installations. I noticed it says Megatron on the hood. Maybe their aim was to give it "Transformer" eyes?

This will not be a $99.00 Kit
I went today to shop for the HID kit that Rubicon_Fan got, and will install them tomorrow. They are awesome. They come with the entire wiring harness, bulbs, and the most important part, the waterproof ballasts...

A similar kit at the same shop for the pic above was priced for $999 Canadian, but it was a true HID kit. I will be spending approximately $450. That gives me the high low beam headlights, and the fogs and 1 year warranty. Will post pics when installed.

There are a bunch of pictures of that rig on this site. Some with the HIDs and some prior to them. The owner has two new Jeeps and used to post here regularly. Haven't seen him drop in for awhile.

EDIT

Here.
