Anyone else thinks the headlights make this thing look like optimusprime?? I would get them just for the intimidation factor!

Here are a couple pics of the HID's....The light pattern is the same as Rubicon_Fans as he posted in the first couple pages of this thread.

I was wondering, what Kelvin temperature lamp did you use? I put some in mine back during the summer. I had 6000K lamps at the time. I was fairly satisfied with the color temperature. It looked factory. Unfortunately, my kit died after only 3 weeks of use. That was an exciting ride the night they went out. Anyway, I sent them back to the guy I bought them from. Never got a replacement, and never got my money back. That's why I'm now interested in a complete replacement fixture.

jkMatt has some tech1 HIDs in his, and they were pretty cool. Looked easy to install, gave HID on high beam and regular bulbs on low beam. For the price they seemed pretty nice...

Not exactly sure what "Kelvin Temp" mine are, I just know they are 6000K, I would think this is the same?...Mine have Bosch waterproof Ballasts, which I was told are one of the best you can get and very reliable. I was told that I would get 3000 hours min out of my bulbs, and if I don't then, I have the 1 year warranty on the whole kit.

That is wierd, as my highbeams would not work properly with this Hi/Low HID kit, as the Wrangler computer would not recognize the Hi-beam, it would not stay illuminated....so my supplier gave me HID low beam, and Halogen hi-beam bulb. Basically, the bulbs are parallel to eachother. My hi/low work fine now, but no HID Highbeam. The pics I posted were obviously only lowbeam, but they are super bright. The angle I have them set at, they do not seem to bother people. With both headlights and the fogs on, I am really happy with the amount of light they throw Also since i have the halogen highbeam, my daytime running lights are still halogen. I am not sure if the US model have this.
