Replaced Sound Bar Speakers- Next Upgrading Dash+Tweeters
Ok, so am I short bus special here or what? I trying to install a pair of Kicker DS65 in my soundbar, should there be an adapter to make my speakers fit? No adapters came with my speakers, and I can't find where anyone else talks about them. Is it just me? Or am I doing something wrong here?
Replaced my Sound bar speakers with Polk Audio marine grade as well. I didn't like the install with just the speaker alone so I went ahead and chopped the factory cover to make it a ring so it looks more OEM.

I think this is the passenger side one. Comparatively, just the speaker replacement alone is a huge step up in sound quality.

I know this is an old thread, but to anyone wondering yes you do need an adapter for most speakers to fit in the soundbar. The Scosche SAC656 adapters work. Or you could do what I did and just use the stock speakers. Gut them and then use them as an adapter.
