Heres some pics of my lightforce 170's on smittybilt brackets. These brackets keep the lights lower and more towards the outside of the window then other brackets. I use an on-off-on switch with one side of the switch to the high beams and the other side of the switch is hot when the ignition is turned on so the lights can not be left on accidentely. I have lightforce 240 xgt on the brush guard.

Default IPF 968's and MBRP Mounts

I run the IPF 968's run to their own switch and just used an add-a-fuse for power. They worked out pretty awesome this winter, the spot pattern is good and I am only running the 55watt bulbs in them.

The MBRP brackets work nicely, they keep them out of the line of site and are pretty well made.

I will post some pic's later.

First pic is just the Piaa Ultra white headlights. Second is just the HIDx lights on the HIDx windshield brackets. The last is both for comparison. They are a Euro beam pattern, so there a mix of flood and spot. I like that the lights covers about 165 degrees so you can see off to the side a lot, but don't lose all of the long visibility.

HIDx is suppose to be coming out with spot and flood pattern housing (atleast that's what their webpage has said for 8 months now). I will probably swap the windshield lights for spots, but only because I have 3 Euro pattern on my bumper. I had the windshield before the bumper and they are definitely the way to go.
