It seemed like the Mopar didn't offset the lights toward the outside of the jeep.
I wanted the lights to stickout less than the mirrors for possiblly more protection

I'm running IPF 968 and I love them... I just dont like the switch they came with so I change it..

How close do the lights get with the HIDx brackets and how bad do they obstruct your view? I went with the Smittybilt brackets because they push the lights out to the side more than other brackets do.

Here in Minnesota we have a lot of tree limbs and brush so that's why I went with a bracket that keeps the lights inward, Less likely to damage my $400.00 lights

Then I am right, windshield auxiliary lights are not to be used on public roads. Sounds like quite a few individuals are leaving themselves open for a citation.
