LOL... well this was the first Wranglers to get a feature that made sense....older jeeps, when you remove the doors, the interior lifgt would stay on....so you had to open that area on the very end of the Dash, those pcs that pop out only if door is open, and you had to pull a fuse...damn....then they has this stupid spring thing that would hold the switch pressed in to keep light off...lol..this model, and i think it's cool that you might not know you can do this and it will be something new for you, you follow the wire harness from the door to the check strap loop, that black band that stops the door, grab the wire/wires that come out of the black loom/strap and follow it up to just under the dash, not far, and feel the connector, on the front of it is a Red tab that slides left or right, then push in on the tab of the connector and pull down....it is a Quick lock disconnect and when it gets disconnected, the jeep knows this and when u turn jeep off, all acc will stay on for 5...10 mins then all shuts off automatic,,,,,So no more pull fuses and the light doesn't come on unless it's plugged back in......

What's fun is going to a store etc, have doors off, pull up, park, grab keys and walk off, all while the music is still playing...everytime, someone has to say, hey you left your keys....LOL...right then as they are talkiing, it shuts off.....LOL

All wranglers 2007-preset have those door harness disconnects under each side of the Dash....since there are no Pin switches for dome lights, it's built into the Door Latch which can also have the power locks built in it also

I just bought a 2010 4dr Wrangler Unlimited Sport that came with half doors, is there any way to know if my Jeep had power doors or power windows at any time or do some come without the wiring harness. The half doors that are on there now don't have power anythingClick image for larger version

Do you have the power window switches in the center of your console? Also if you send jeep your Vin you can get a build sheet for your vehicle. Also I've seen but don't have the link to a site on jeep.com that will regenerate your window sticker based on your VIN. Do a search for 'window sticker vin' on the forums. Hope this helps.

Like TheDoubleD said, they will email you a complete list of standrads and options per your VIN...pretty easy to do. As for the Half Doors, there has never been an option on Half Doors to have power Locks, but the Harness can be a Connector with more then the 2 way connector, could be a 10 or 14 way (pins or space for wires). This would happen if Half Doors where added after the sale and Mopar will send a Harness kit to change the 2 way connector to the current jeep's model requirement so you will not lose the ability to plug the door in for the RAP system to continue to work...That would be another way to tell...Unplug or look at Connector that you unplug under the Driver and/or passenger side dash...
