Great job! I think there are a lot of people that have no idea on how to properly and safely use the winch they have. There are places that have classes on how to, like Rausch Creek in Pa. Wewll woth it for a beginer.

Wow that must of been a scary expierence!! Glad nothing bad happened, Good job on acting so quickly!
Reminds me of first time i went on a trail, spot came up with a big drop on the right and bushes on left, my jeeping mentor says, "You wanna end up in the ditch or get a few scratches?" Made the point pretty clear hahahaha

Nice save! I lived in CO for a few years and we learned to use our winches on Eagle Rock/Baldy...that scared the poo out of me the first time we went up it

WOW. Nice job at the recovery. Glad it didn't turn out any worse. I'm new too and always learning about wheelin so I greatly appreciate this as a learning tool. Thanks and again glad it all ended well.

That trail he was on wasn't even that grown in. I don't understand what was he afraid of Rolling off a slope is what would scare most. Man, if I had to worry about every pinstripe, then I would have to stay home and not go anywhere. Any place you go here is littered with bush. Everytime I come back, I come back with new scratches. This is why I see this incident being so foolish

Wow, who would ever think one would get into shit in this spot.... but then again things happen...
first scratch is always the hardest I guess.....
maybe Jeeps should come pre-scratched.....
