Learn a lesson from this! (Mostly to the noobs.)
WOW I honestly don't even see how anybody could get into the spot. Why would you hug loose rocks on edge vs driving on the flat part of the trail
And that's a simple trail, Moab trails are a hell of a lot more dangerous than that. Good thing you guys were there to help out. If it wasn't such a long drop, I'd almost rather see somebody like that flip on their side just to teach them a lesson
I see lots of guy flip on their sides because they do stupid things and have no common sense....they have to learn it sooner or later.

this is my first post,, i read this thread and just had to join jk forum and comment on 2 little things. I'v been wheeling since i was 16(thats 23 yrs),, and i would definitely recommend two things.... get to know your rig before putting yourself in that position. not knowing how to lock your diffs is not good. 2nd,,,,, simmer down on the gas as you winch! put it in 4 low and feel free to add gas,,, but try not to spin the tires as you winch!! your winch should be plenty strong to pull your jeep straight up(if you bought the right winch) peeling out all 4 tires can only make things worse!,,,,, on the other hand,,,, everyone(and their jeeps) walked away from this one, so you did a great job!! monday morning qb's suck! happy wheeling!!!!
