Where's that lake? Somewhere on Pyramid...??? I'm from Tahoe originally and went down to Reno a number of times, but never made it out to Pyramid. So I was just curious......Thanks.

That is Stampede Reservoir... about 10 miles west of the Nevada/California border on I-80 then 7 miles north on Hirschdale Road. Boca and Stampede are both amazing places to do some light wheeling.

BTW, this was at Pyramid last summer. Too bad you never made it up there... it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the US IMO.

that red jk 2doors looks taller than 3 inches... how many miles you have with the kit... and have you had any problems with your driveshafts???

help me decide 3.25 or 4 inches lift... for my 2 doors.

Hachuky, unless you're intentionally after the aesthetic of height, your optimal lift is only as much as you need to clear the tires during axle articulation. This keeps your center of gravity lower. Safer both on and off road.

Here's my JK with 3" Old Man Emu and 35s (with the obligatory factory wheels, btw):

i just order a 3.25 inch lift for my 2 door.. the red jk still looks taller.. but the black look awesome... i love it to look tall... but i dont want to start changing driveshafts and all stop counting... my plan is for now. everyday use... look nice and clean.. so SOON ill post my pictures.
