Checking the fit of my rack basket on the JK Safari. It mounts to the ZJ rack crossbars.

Next I'll try out the roof top tent.

I installed the roof top tent to see how it looks with the final Safari Cab and to do a final test of the roll-bar tie-in brackets for the rack.

It's nice to be able to throw a tent on top of the hardtop without an exocage style rack or any other special hardware.

I wouldn't trust that net to hold that Tire.
Maybe a ratchet strap or two would keep it a bit more secure. Better safe than sorry.

The net doesn't hold tires to the rack. The wheel is bolted to the rack.

That's a spare for my LJ in the picture above.

Even though I'm 6'6", I can easily stand under roof top tent and access the back of the Jeep. And there's no interference between the barn door and the tent ladder, they clear each other just fine. The tent I have is available with an optional changing room, I don't have that option but I've done a quick "digital installation" of it in this photo. Seems like a really good option to enhance the functionality of the Jeep/RTT setup.

Now that's just cool! Totally dig how functional everything is. Very well thought out! Now if only manufacturers would get their act together..overlanding is growing fast. I'm thinking this would be a big seller if it's priced right. Only negative, manufacturers would most likely inflate the price due to demand/popularity.

Ahh man, I love the look of it with the loaded up roof rack and basket. Looks ready for an adventure!

I'm sure you mentioned it earlier in the thread, but what roof rack are you running? Is the runner that's attached to your Safari hardtop available for a 2-door hardtop?
