Custom modular JK hardtop
What he said exactly, I think most of us are just aware our fab skills couldn't produce an end product half as nice as yours. The end product is amazingly well done, and I think those of us who are a bit lacking in the fab department are just lamenting the fact we can't order these :-)
Thx for lookn out Pats fan!
Back when I was molding the hardtop parts I made an extra pair of side panels for experimenting with different windows or cargo hatches. In these photos I'm testing the fit of a panel with a cargo door.
The cargo door can be installed with the hinge at the bottom to serve as a cargo hatch/tray table:

Or the hinge at the top "gull wing" style:

I'm trying to decide if the best way to use them is one of the ways pictured above, or maybe with a storage compartment inside. Here's a few photo-edit concepts...
This one's a tool board that goes between the roll bar and the hatch, so there's limited space between the board and the hatch.

A deeper compartment would have to have to be shaped to clear the roll bar, I could make a fiberglass compartment something like this:

When I did the factory hardtop modular conversion project I described what would be necessary to support roll-up soft sides, but hadn't made that mod to the side panels. This anim shows the various configuration options possible with the modular conversion, you can see the b-pillars in place for the soft side configurations. I've also "installed" the slider window kit in the half doors, and I've left the hatch off for these illustrations.

I did the mod the other day, here are the results:
Full side panels bolted in place (with a prototype quick release "window" installed):

The main part of the side panel is removable, leaving only a b-pillar (door surround) to attach the soft sides to.

The step-by-step instructions for this modification start here: Converting a factory JK/JKU hardtop to modular - Page 10
Next I'll be doing a quick release window with tinted plexiglass; the solid one in the photo above is a proof-of-concept I made using some solid stock I had on hand.

Yesterday I was driving the JK Safari and passed a JKU identical to mine except for the Safari Cab - it made me think about the different look so I put together this before and after series...

Details...
I've been working on a few Safari Cab details - one of the things that isn't quite up to the quality of the rest of the project is the spare tire cover that I had the Safari logo heat-pressed onto. It's a Rugged Ridge cover, and the color is great, but the grain of the fabric was distorted by the pressing process because the fabric is heat sensitive. In some of the photos I've posted you can see the marks made by the heat press.
I've found a new fabric that I think will survive the heat pressing process and today I dropped off a sample at the sign shop for them to test. It passed my home iron test, and if it passes the test at the sign shop I'll order enough fabric to sew a new cover from scratch and I'll have the logo pressed onto it.
The new fabric is a nylon Cordura fabric; the color is "Coyote" and it's a very close match for Spice, here's a sample next to a color sample of the Spice paint:

Another detail I haven't show yet is the brackets that tie the roof rack to the roll bars. I hadn't painted them until today; tomorrow I'll bolt them back into place and post some photos of them installed. Painted:

There's no drilling on either the Jeep or the Safari Cab to install the brackets to tie the roof rack to the roll bars - the brackets bolt up to existing holes Jeep has conveniently provided in the roll bars, and connect to the bolts that secure the roof rack in place. The only mod to the Jeep was making holes in the roll bar covers for the bolts.
