Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!

As far as I know, the dual battery won't work on 2012. But that may have changed. I thought about dual battery, I had 3 on my excursion. Just didn't feel like messing with the isolator and all that this time around. I will probably try the sears deep cycle when the time comes. My fridge doesn't draw that much, about 1.5A/hr avg. Trying to keep this a minimalist build. And I opted not to get the 18" extension, if I need to cross something that requires that much height, I will find another way around or rent a boat. Plus the extension looks a little ghetto/afterthought.
Here are some pics.

I'll post mine for you, as it's basically the same one. The only difference, I believe, is that I got the stubby bumper, and Mark's is the full width one (plus I had them cut a hole for my trailer harness (near the left side reverse lamp) and an antenna mount on the driver's side.

Right now, since my lights are set back from the windshield, I have a harness that I stow in the opening in the engine compartment behind the batteries. When off road, I pull out that harness and run it up to the lights and connect it up. It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done. As suggested, once I get the light repositioned over the windshield, I will run it up the tube for the rack (it will require custom welding to mate the MBRP rack extension to the AEV snorkel).

I went with the long range up there. When I put my fogs, low beams, and bumper mounted KC driving lights on, I have a very nice, well-lit pattern in front of the Jeep. I was also concerned that since these lights are set back a few feet from the windshield (temporarily so), that I'd lose light into the roof panels. So, I wanted more sight distance down the road. This provides it. I've debated replacing a couple of the KC Slimlites with some of the larger lights that are common on expedition rigs--more for aesthetic reasons than anything else. Would appreciate anyone's thoughts on that, as well as recommended lights.

There is a kit that will fit the '12s. It stacks the batteries on top of each other. I won't tell you the vendor because I had my share of headaches with them, they used to be a sponsor here, and to be honest I don't even know if they're on the banned list now. But, at least you know it's feasible.

I guess my 2007 was more of an expedition build as that's mostly what I used it for.
Here's a pic from Port Orford, OR on our way back to Texas from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC.
How she sat when I was done.
Now she will be replaced by this 2012 I picked up this past weekend. I can't wait for the build process to begin.
