After installing mine, I wish I had... Very simple. Best advice if you try: make sure your cable isn't frayed...if it is, it can be quite difficult to feed through the hole in the bolt... Not to mention---painful. Lol

 

The limb risers have all stainless hardware, cables coated with a thick black plastic coating, mounting brackets are powder coated black and predrilled and tapped and they are already cut to size. To me for a hundred bucks it was worth every penny. You can make them I am sure I just don't have time.

 

No one can give me a straight answer. I did research and one person says it works out of all the ones who said it didn't. He did have a pic posted with the gen2 snorkel and a gobi rack. We shall see. The gen1 is not being made anymore, for AEV sales I hope it does.

It doesn't work with the MBRP rack, either. Except when it does (after a friend did about two hours of fab work for me) ...

 

Ya I saw and read your rack mod Mark. I just love reading thru this thread and getting great info and great inspiration.

 

I dont know what AEV was thinking, it really limits their market to those who have no rack or buy the AEV rack...

 

Just talked with AEV direct and they said the gen2 will work with the gobi.
