Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Took a 2000 mile round trip from NH to Newfoundland, up for a wedding and made a week of it. Even found some locals that took me wheeling with them. After a trip like this I really want to do more, of course I need some more items first, but it worked for me.
Had the back filled pretty good with a cooler/compressor/luggage and spare. Had a "harbor freight special" 500lb cargo carrier with a giant plastic bin strapped down in it, fit quite a bit in that, and it didn't leak at all with all the bungee cords I used on it.

This was at home, (and blurry) but you get the idea.

Looks good. That is some thick mud!! Wheeling that far from home would make me nervous about breakage.
The wife and I are looking at a similar trip in a few years, any suggestions/lessons learned???

2. Don't forget gas is 5-6 a gallon
3. Don't get a Tim Hortons Ice Coffee
4. Try pineapple crush while your there, really sweet, but I think it's pretty much exclusive up there.
5. I swear I checked my tires not long after I left, was 5 or so psi low by the time I got up there (this could have just been me)
6. Try not to spend US up there, some charge you an extra fee, plus 1:1 rate (never mind the rate, our dollar is worthless these days).
7. If you bring CC's some places don't actually take a visa/mc (one or the other, had never seen that).
8. They drive like lunatics (fast) up there.
But, we had a very good time, and drove from North Sydney, Nova Scotia to Manchester, NH, took about 13-14 hours.
