Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
BTW: I haven't done any of it, but there is also the Trans Am Trail. It's single track, but most of it can be done by 4WD vehicles. If you search on "Trans Am Trail" you'll come up with the website pretty quickly. It's expensive for the maps ($400?), but he also sells the maps by state for quite a bit less. It is actually set up for off-road with hotel stays nearby, but one could probably modify the trip camping along the trail where permitted (national forests, BLM land, etc), and at nearby state parks where not permitted. Or, an occasional hotel stay is not a bad thing: It's always nice to have a decent shower! The trail starts in eastern TN and goes somewhere near the west coast.

I don't remember if I've posted in a while on the progress of my JK (if ever). So, here are some pics. As you can see, mine if sort of a hybrid of rock crawling and expedition.
These are pics from an ORV in central AL area.
Interior is Line-X'd now for easier clean up after trips and day to day use/no more crappy carpet! Put the roof rack back on yesterday after a hiatus for the winter months.

It was $650 and worth every penny. There are some threads from guys who have done the entire process with other products on the forum for less $$ (not counting the time they have into it), but this was a small price for me to pay considering I did not have any prep work (sanding/priming, taping, etc) outside of removing the carpet, seats, seat belts and factory sub. The ~2.5 hrs it took me to remove and reinstall everything was using impact wrench/air ratchet. It would have gone quicker if I did not have 2 stuck seat bolts in the rear that we had to heat up to get out.
Some upgrades and update.
Threw in some WeatherTech floor liners.* Nice product.

Moved Rotopax to 3, low profile, across the rear of the Safari Rack.* I can still stack additional water pack, as needed.

Installed the Warrior center tailgate panel.* Have the outer panel to install, as well, to cover the warped tailgate skin, claimed by The Rubicon in 2010.

Adjusted the mudflap storage hangers

Installed my 8’ ARB Touring Awning with Fourtreks Aluminum Modular Awning Mounts.* Top notch mounts!!* Luke is great to work with.

ARB awning is really nice quality and very easy, quick setup and take-down.

It was a great day turning wrench in the sun.
