JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! I like that Jerry can holder (that one holding what appear to be stainless steel Jerry cans). Who makes it?

On those giant floaters. What is the propulsion used? Or you just pull the Jeeps across using ropes?

They had some paddle tires which were to be installed when they got to the english channel....

If you ask me, that expedition was doomed from the drawing board... It's like someone wrote them a blank check and said "foget about capability.. Just find out how expensive you can make a JK! "

From other pics I've seen of the JKs with the pontoons, they have a 25hp outboard mounted on the back of the JK with fuel tanks on the back of the roof rack. I'm really liking all the expedition style JKs on here! I'm in the process of building mine that way, but Moab and other rock-play areas are too close to ignore

Besides, still waiting to see if Chrysler will ever offer us a diesel in the US!

that 3.0 merc from the grand cherokees in 09 adn 10 would be my dream motor even over a hemi. Give that puppy a twin turbo for low end grunt and highway speed, you would have a 28 mpg monster that could travel for days on a tank of fuel. I will be buying a 2012 in the next few weeks to a month or so. But Someday the pentastar may have ot come out for one of those 3 liter dino's. 389 ft lbs of tq stock, yea baby.

Ill probably just buy a wrecked GC with the setup in it and swap it over. that way you should have everything you need but motor mounts. I think they even have the same tranny

I'm preparing mine for the above and am having a custom safari roof rack, winch bumper (LOD mid-width) and Wartn M8000 winch mounted over the next couple of weeks. Who else is preparing their's for similar? Here's mine so far:

THIS is the thread I have been looking for!! Who wants to put money away for their retirement when they can build up an expedition modded JK? If anyone can point me in the direction of a good dual battery install write-up it would be much appreciated. Very nice machine by the way. What kind of tires are those?
