Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Justin--It is on hold. We've got another big trip out west in the works right around that time. I will PM you.

It had this camper top on it when I purchased it but I've since pulled it off.. Its a really cool setup but I can't hardly set that monstrosity up by myself in the wind or rain and It keeps me from being able to haul my mountain bikes with me. (its for sale $300)..

My 10a and expo trailer project. Its a utility bed from a chevy s-10. Its in the body shop now being lifted 4", matching wheels/tires, cargo rack and color matched rhino liner. Been on the fence forever about using an RTT or not and decided to just use a 5x8 tent on top instead. A little more versatile than an RTT I think.
The lift is almost done now. It still has the chevy axle under it but I decided to pull it and install a 3500# regular axle kit. This is temporary as I plan on building a new frame for it and getting rid of the (VERY) heavy chevy frame that's under it now. Weight savings is the name of the game here.. On the new frame I'll put a timbren axleless system under it.
Installed a set of TJ fender flares to give it a little more rugged look and trying to figure out how to fab up a rear spare tire carrier. I need a little more weight on the rear since the front box is super heavy duty. It's all I can do to lift the hitch up now. With the camper top on it, it was very balanced, about 150# of tongue weight. Now its considerably higher.

Finished with them and I think they turned out awesome for a DIY project.
They are adjustable and can be removed if needed.
Everyone is always asking what they are for!
The common response after the explanation? COOL !!
I know that the snorkel inlet is in the way but when I go out I usually turn the head around and that fixes the problem.

They push limbs out of the way as you tool down the trail. Will be able to see plenty of that in my production video, which literally just finished rendering, from the f-Stop Arkansas trip. Hope to review and have it online in the next day or two.
Now I can semi-justify these. We don't have trees in the desert, but as my build progresses, so will where my jeep takes me. Thanks.
