Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Trying better luck on this thread.
Since some of you really went deep out of the roads, what maps did you use? Paper, computer or both?
I've been trying to get a topo map software that works with the GPS embedded in my laptop. The ones I found so far that work like this are for city streets, no topo. Or, the topo ones require to download the maps to a portable GPS.
Any recommendations?

We visited Orlando this week and went to Clermont to this place called Showcase of Citrus. There was a cool white Rubicon there all modded out with Jerry cans, Moab and other stickers and the like. Really cool rig. Here are a couple of shots. One is the rig and the other is a sticker from Montana that was on its left side.

Edit: BTW, what do you do in Scouting? Right now I'm the Big Tepee District Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner. There is a thread, buried deep somewhere probably in A&E, for Scouters to check in. If you enjoy Scouting pictures, I'm really into that, too. Here are some of my favorites I've shot ...

I kind of took this year off from Scouting; I needed a break, I was getting burned out. That said I'm an Asst. Scout Master and at the district level I'm the director for our CubScout day camp.
Thank you; it's been a work in progress for a few years now.Heres a list of some of what it has in it so far (what I can remember off the top of my head).
I've got the front axle sleeved and gussetted

Replaced the battery tray with one to handle a group 31 battery
Vi-Air OBA mounted under the hood
SPAL waterproof engine cooling fan with alum shroud
River Raider rock sliders
Superwinch EPi 9.0 winch
Custom leather seats
Jeep Trailguide GPS
Yaesu FT-857 Ham radio
**** switch cneter
12 VoltGuy inside winch controls
