Would that happen to be FR 1701 just west of Naches by chance? Place is beautiful, and love the setup you've got there. What's the rack and tent?

Hey, thanks: Yes exactly, we were taking a buddy of mine out to show him moon rocks, he has a vanagon syncro. The rack is a front runner slimline 2 and the tent is a TJM yulara.

Arizona Explorations, May 2014, Part 1 video has been published on YouTube. This first part starts in El Malpais National Monument, just outside Grants, NM, then continues through the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National Park, Saguaro National Park, and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. From there I would leave for San Diego, and then afterward continue my adventure into Arizona on the way back home.

While much of the trip is off paved surfaces, most of the routes are suitable for cars or high clearance vehicles. The only caution I would offer is a couple places would be best tackled with four wheel drive if foul weather was expected, and some of these places can be quite remote--one should be prepared to be stuck and have to hike out for help.

For those of you with the Teraflex hinge, would any of you have interest in a replacement accessory mount that can hold 12-gallons of gas, hi lift, shovel, maxtraxx, etc...?
Working on designing something to bring to market.

Yes, I'd like to see an alternative method to mount fuel on the Teraflex hinge.

YES! The rear bumper I am considering does not have a tire carrier option, so I'll likely be going with the Teraflex hinge. 2 "true" Jerry cans vs. Rotopax are preferred, if I can be choosy.
