Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
That's a neat little TD! There's a guy local to me who custom builds them...when I'm done spending money on my JKR (lol), I hope to pick one up from him.
I hope he doesn't mind me posting this picture...

Have looked at lots of pictures and followed his build. Probably one of the best equipped and priced TDs - not to mention one of the lightest. Very very high on my list if I were to buy one new.
It's on bcjeepclub dot ca under fabrication projects. wavebreaker is the builder. Likely one of the top 5 or so for views/replies.
Update on the last page. Weighed in at 900 lbs - not dry, but not wet either. That's lighter than my m101 loaded up (around 1300 or so).

Interesting. so what would a offroad trailer weigh with the RTT? When I think of weight, I'm thinking about how much it ways without my gear, water and food but with all the stuff you normally wouldn't remove like your propane tank, gas cans etc.
I have a slightly larger m416 style trailer (10% larger) with the largest RTT you can get and I think it's heavey but I don't have a point of relitivity.

So I've been a long time lurker on this thread, and I figured it was time for me to post up a pick showing what a bad influence you guys have been
. I really appreciate all of the good ideas that can be found here!

I know I was surprised at how much it weighed (for some reason I thought it would be a lot less). If yours is 10% bigger, then it would almost certainly be heavier - depending on how it was made (you have the orange one that your brother/family member made - right? I remember seeing one on Expo). But honestly, as long as your weight is distributed properly, you can move it around (ideally alone), and your tow rig can handle it, I wouldn't be too worried about it.
If you live somewhere near some weigh scales, go by there sometime when it's quiet, and just drive onto them. That'll at least give you your rear axle weight - which should be most of what the trailer weighs. You can always get your tongue weight at home with a scale and piece of 2x4.

Bet you didn't realize how curved parts of your Jeep are, did you?
