Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Need a little reassurance here, or maybe other suggestions.
Thinking heavily about the OME 2 inch lift kit, and am looking for feedback on that kit. I don't like the springs not being progressive, and the shocks not being monotube. But you can't ignore all the people who love their ride.
Also thinking about the rock krawler expedition lift, but more than I'd like to spend. Is this one that much better?
My stock+teraflex leveling kit has settle down to stock height in the rear and near stock in the front from the weight of my Gobi rack, bumpers, sliders, etc. and I have plans to add a winch soon.
I currently run 32.6 inch tires and am still at least 20000mi from replacing them. When I do, 34's would be the highest I could see myself going. I plan for a lot of distance driving being loaded on the rack, and possibly towing a teardrop trailer. So keeping my tire size smaller and more practical will be better for me overall for breaking and getting out of my own way with 4.88's on a 2010.

I was in the same boat last year, rolling on a 2.5" Teraflex kit that was sagging under the weight of winch bumper, winch, rear steel bumper, roof rack, etc. I went with OME 300 front/600 rear springs. I also installed Rancho geometry correction brackets, which I would say have done more to returning the ride to "stock" feel than the springs ever could, which I do not find to be harsh. There is a lot to be said about running the correct caster on the front. I am currently still running on a set of Rubi gas shocks and will probably replace them next year with Rancho 9000s. We are running 33" tires, LT285/70R17 on 3.73 gearing, which I an happy with. If I go larger than a 295, I'll re-gear to 4.56. Like Mark said, this isn't advice but rather another example of something working in your particular situation.

Mark,
How much do the timbrens mess with flex? I know you guys flex a lot in sections of the trails you run...I have them in the front ofmy suburban for the plow and they work great there.

Didn't really notice on the rear axle, which was already on the bumpstops. I'd advise against them on the front for that very reason, though.
I just ordered airbags, I will give them a shot. My dealer treats me really good so if I blow one, I will get a free replacement. I don't run super heavy, but at times will have a load with the pop up on, and camping/traveling gear inside. So, the bags should really help there.
